Black Hole Magazine wants to liberate female magazines from limiting gender narratives.
Anti-aspirational, anti-consumerism, pro-liberation. We irreverently declare a revolt on the publicised expressions of women. Exploring music, film, art, pop culture and lifestyle, Black Hole Magazine celebrates the voices mainstream media doesn't want you to hear.
Driven by lowbrow and pop culture, Black Hole Magazine is about content and aesthetics. It aims to empower the diversity of female experience— femininity, grossness, trash, intellectuality, punk, girl groups— contradiction is the ethos that Black Hole wears as a pin badge on its leather jacket.
We want to inspire women to get creative: make music, make art, support each other and develop a discourse which doesn't just concern the usual female targeted topics.
